Meet One Heartland founder and CEO Neil Willenson!

Hey! Are you interested in volunteerism, activism related to HIV/AIDS awareness or poverty and/or public service? Then you should be in the audience for Wisconsin Reflections tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday, April 13), with One Heartland founder and CEO Neil Willenson!

Wisconsin Reflections, airing nationally on the Big Ten Network, features prominent UW-Madison alumni speaking about their time on campus and their subsequent careers. The show tapes in the Wisconsin Public TV studios (2nd floor, Vilas Hall) on campus at 1 p.m. tomorrow afternoon; you'll probably be done by 2:25. The show will include several interview segments with host John Roach and a Q&A session at the end.

Neil Willenson founded Camp Heartland, as it was then known, while a senior at UW-Madison. Since then, he's expanded the organization's reach to provide services across the country for children and families facing isolating issues related to disease, poverty and homelessness, among others. One of GQ's Men of the Year in 2008, he spoke at this year's winter commencement ceremonies and was recently featured on Dateline NBC.
